Appointments at Manchester Children’s Clinic are designed to allow time for proper discussion, examination and planning. The aim is to understand your child’s symptoms, review any relevant history or previous investigations, and agree a clear next step with your family.

We will take time to understand your child’s symptoms, medical history and any concerns you would like to raise.
2. Review previous information
Where relevant, previous letters, scan results, test results or treatment history can be reviewed.
3. Clinical assessment
Your child will be assessed in an appropriate, child-focused way, with findings explained clearly.
4. Treatment options
You will be talked through the available options, which may include reassurance, monitoring, further investigation or treatment.
5. Clear next steps
A management plan will be agreed with you, so you know what happens after the appointment.
