Professor RM Cervellione is a senior Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Urology at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and an internationally recognised expert in paediatric and adolescent urological reconstruction.

With nearly 20 years of consultant experience, he provides specialist care for both common conditions and highly complex urological problems in children and young people.

Known for combining advanced surgical expertise with a calm, reassuring and family-focused approach, Professor Cervellione works closely with families to provide clear explanations, careful assessment and treatment plans tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Professor Cervellione is an Honorary Professor at the University of Manchester, has published more than 75 articles in leading international peer-reviewed journals, and is actively involved in teaching, specialist training, international collaboration and charitable surgical missions.

Paediatric Urological Reconstruction

Expertise in complex reconstructive surgery, including bladder exstrophy, cloacal exstrophy, epispadias, hypospadias, buried penis and complex redo procedures.

Hypospadias & Genital Conditions

Specialist assessment and treatment for hypospadias, foreskin conditions, phimosis, megaprepuce, hydrocele, varicocele, undescended testis and retractile testis.

Kidney, Bladder & Urinary Tract Conditions

Care for hydronephrosis, PUJ obstruction, VUJ obstruction, vesicoureteric reflux, ureterocele, posterior urethral valves and recurrent urinary tract infections.

Continence & Voiding Problems

Assessment and treatment for bedwetting, daytime urinary incontinence, giggle incontinence, urinary frequency, urgency, overactive bladder and dysfunctional voiding..

Hernias & Day-Case Surgery

Treatment for common paediatric surgical conditions including inguinal hernia, umbilical hernia, epigastric hernia and selected day-case procedures.

Adolescent Urology

Specialist support for adolescent urology concerns, including post-pubertal hydrocele, varicocele and ongoing urological problems affecting older children and teenagers.

Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist

Dr Abdelrahman supports the safe delivery of surgical care for children undergoing procedures at Manchester Children’s Clinic, including perioperative assessment, anaesthetic management and close collaboration with the surgical team.

Dr Senthil Kanniah

Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist

Dr Kanniah provides specialist paediatric anaesthetic care for children undergoing surgery in a dedicated paediatric environment, helping maintain high standards of safety, comfort and perioperative support.

Sister Zoe Healey

Scrub Nurse

Sister Healey supports paediatric surgical procedures in theatre, helping with sterile preparation, instrument handling, intraoperative support and a safe, well-organised theatre environment..

Kaye Davis-Cooper

Ward Manager & Senior Nurse

Sister Davis-Cooper oversees ward operations and supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care for children and their families throughout their treatment journey.

Emma Braddock

Anaesthetic Practitioner

Emma Braddock supports the anaesthetic team before, during and after procedures, helping prepare equipment and provide a calm, reassuring environment for children and families.

Campbell Skilling

Senior Theatre Practitioner

Cambel Skilling supports theatre preparation, workflow, equipment readiness and safety standards throughout the surgical pathway.

Behind the clinical service is a dedicated support team helping families with enquiries, appointment coordination, communication, billing and follow-up.

Laurna Cervellione

Practice Manager

Laurna Cervellione oversees the day-to-day management and organisation of Manchester Children’s Clinic, helping ensure that families experience a coordinated, responsive and supportive pathway from first enquiry through to follow-up care.

Chloe Rowcroft

Administrative Support & Personal Assistant

Chloe Rowcroft provides administrative support to the clinic and works closely with the clinical and management team to support the smooth running of daily operations.

Her role includes managing correspondence, assisting with patient enquiries, supporting clinic scheduling and providing personal assistant support within the practice.

Davide Cervellione

Data Analyst & Support Worker

Davide Cervellione supports the clinic through data analysis and operational assistance, helping with the organisation, review and improvement of service processes.

His work contributes to an efficient, data-informed and well-coordinated clinical service.

Linda Ahearn

Financial Administrator

Linda Ahearn supports the financial administration of Manchester Children’s Clinic, including invoicing, billing coordination and payment-related processes.

Her role helps ensure financial administration is handled clearly, efficiently and professionally.
